Moontown is the name of an independent travel company we created to add a bold stroke of adventure to your itinerary. We are authors with writing, research, and design backgrounds who have a different method of discovering a city.

We offer tightly-edited, spontaneously-presented narratives for the experience-conscious visitor. One night looking for action on a lush island we took a walk up the coastal road and just before it inclined we saw this sign framed by a string of lights: "Welcome to Moontown.

" It’s there that we met the golden-voiced Glaswegian who took us into the life of his adopted home. We all loved the name Moontown.

And you knew it when he said it. And the place lives everywhere inside you and all around.
